Hope Chapel San Pedro

My initial service to Hope Chapel was as Communications Director for the stewardship campaign, Building Hope – In, Out & Up. Early in 2006, I was hired on a project basis to upgrade the bulk of the graphics for the church. I created a series of coordinated logos for Hope Chapel and it’s various ministry and support programs. I re-designed the bulletin, brochures and other promotional materials. I was hired full-time in August that year and continued in that position until January of 2008. During that time, I produced dozens of promotional films, upgraded and promoted the church website, coordinated several groups and generally made the church look professional. I still help Hope Chapel as a tithe of service.

Valor Ministries, LLC

After two wildly successful years of coordinating the annual men’s adventure at Hope Chapel, I along with several other church leaders decided to take the program to market. As the Program Director for Valor Ministries, I set forth to create a retail version of the program and make it commercially available to other churches nationwide. The product consists of a DVD with professionally produced video promos and a CD of interactive documents. Those files include a comprehensive 72-page administration guide which I wrote from scratch; promotional materials; game scripts, guides and score sheets; and all supporting materials. “Holy Moses!” is the first installment, with two subsequent adventures, “Joseph’s Journey” and “David’s Dance”.

Adobe Software

As soon as I went freelance in 1996, I sought to gain a close business relationship with the local representatives of Adobe. Through that association, I was often called upon to test upcoming releases, demonstrate programs at seminars and train at various user group meetings. Some of my graphics and animation projects were used as software demos.

Various Artist Representative Agencies

My early freelance career was greatly assisted through the sustained trust and confidence that many agencies had in my expertise. Their bounty of assignments exposed me to myriad facets of management styles, systems, processes and a diverse clientele.
