“Growing Up” with the technology

From the start of my career in desktop publishing, I have always associated myself with industry insiders who trusted my insight and feedback on software capabilities. I have worked with many graphics programs since their earliest incarnations—including “beta” versions of such industry-standard applications as Quark XPress and Adobe Illustrator. I now concentrate my design and editing skills exclusively utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite and Apple’s iLife and iWork suite of software programs. From bitmap editing for print and web, to vector graphics, to publishing, to animation and film editing, I’ve settled into the perfect software solution for almost any design challenge. And knowing these programs inside and out, I can take the shortest route from concept to finished product—whether it be for camera-ready art, browser-tested sites or burned to a DVD.

“Old School” meets hi-tech

My foundation of traditional graphics skills and film and audio editing has only enhanced my ability to take the fullest advantage of the latest media applications available. Whether a film project calls for a simple slideshow with music, or a full-on feature with flying logos, interviews and narration, I know just how to craft any audio/visual assignment with my trusty and powerful laptop. I prefer to take my fully tricked-out MacBook Pro with me on in-house gigs, but I can work on just about any Mac or PC.
